Not everyone can afford a private dentist, and this group lists the alternatives: federally qualified community health centers and county health departments that charge on a sliding scale and take Medicaid and CHIP, dental schools where supervised students treat patients at a fraction of private fees, free clinics run by charities and dental societies, mobile and in-home dentists who serve nursing homes and rural areas, and the insurance agencies and discount plans that pay for care. State and local dental associations run referral lines, Give Kids A Smile days and Mission of Mercy weekends where volunteers treat hundreds of patients for free.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Charlotte is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Scheduling an appointment and the overall process to be seen was seamless. My frustration was with being promised results within a certain timeframe, but the provider didnβt review them promptly. The issue wasnβt the lab delivering the results; it was the lack of urgency from the provider and no one else being able to share the information with me even though it was available.

This clinic has a serious problem with professionalism, communication, and overall patient care. Every time Iβve visited or called, Iβve been met with frustration instead of support. When you call, youβre often put on hold for long periods, and when someone does answer, itβs clear that many of the staff members are not knowledgeable or properly trained to assist patients β especially those with complex or ongoing medical needs. Whatβs even more concerning is that the nurse practitioner continues to suggest prescribing medications Iβve already been taking. Iβve had to remind her more than once about whatβs already on my chart β which tells me sheβs not reviewing my medical history before making decisions. Thatβs not just a mistake β itβs dangerous. I also explained how my health condition affects my ability to perform physically demanding work, but no one ever asked me what kind of job I have. Thatβs basic information for any thorough medical evaluation and should have been part of the initial intake. Ignoring this shows a complete lack of follow-through and attention to the real-life impact of a patientβs symptoms. While the front desk staff may come off as friendly, the overall

Went for a standard screening and Alicia was my doctor. She did a great job at making me feel comfortable and had amazing energy :)! Place was super clean and the process was very smooth! Thanks again.

5 star service from the moment you enter starting with the lovely receptionist Ms. T who is so warm kind and friendly. No matter what your orientation is. You will feel comfortable here and in good hands. The Director is a little shady though. Not as friendly as the staff and very short responses when attempting to have a conversation with him. -1 star

The entire staff was super friendly and helpful! James especially made sure that I was comfortable (I get woozy during blood drawing) and honestly I didnβt feel a thing! He was super friendly and made sure I knew everything I needed to know before leaving. Would 10/10 recommend!
